TUCSON - St. Demetrios Greek Festival is this weekend, so today on News 4 Cooks at Noon, Chef Chrys Kotzambasis stopped by to make some traditional Greek fair: Tzatziki. Here's the recipe:
Tzatziki
Ingredients:
4 cups of Greek Yogurt
2 Tbsp of fresh minced garlic
1 Large cucumber (seeded)
1 Tbsp of red wine vinegar
2 Tbsp of olive oil
2 Tbsp of dill
1 Tbsp of white pepper
Recipe:
Combine ALL ingredients in mixing bowl. Chill for at least one hour before serving. Served with multiple items, but best known with pita.
