(WBAL) Maryland's Annapolis High School is trying to cut down on twerking and other types of provocative dancing at the school's homecoming this weekend by requiring a special conduct contract be signed by students and parents.
The contract is clear: Without a signature, there's no entry to the dance, and sexually explicit dancing is not allowed, even though that's the type of dancing many students said they've seen in the past.
"It's pretty intense -- lots of grinding," said student Emily Haver.
"It's no secret that the styles of dancing are different than they were five or 10 years ago, so you have to take steps to make sure that the events that you put on are enjoyable events for everybody who attends them," said county schools spokesman Bob Mosier.
