NOGALES, Ariz. - Folks woke up to a picturesque scene in Nogales, as white powdery snow blanketed the border town.

For the folks in Nogales it was surely a morning full of excitement and rare snow photo ops.

Many students throughout Santa Cruz County took advantage of the snow day and cancelled classes, taking to the city to enjoy the snow.

Santa Cruz County Tony Estrada told News 4 Tucson that there were no major accidents or problems throughout the county because of the snow.
