TUCSON - Tucson Water crews are working on a water outage on the northeast side of Tucson.
According to a news release from Tucson Water a 12" water main break is affecting an area in the vicinity of Tanque Verde Road and Bear Canyon Road.
Tucson Water says service as far south as Bears Path Road and as far north as Eagle Place may be affected by this main break.
Tucson Water says customers in the area are likely to experience extremely low water pressure.
Crews have located the affected pipe and are working to isolate the break so that they can initiate repairs and restore service back to normal. Once the break has been secured, a minimal number of customers along Tanque Verde Road are expected to be impacted until repairs are completed.
Motorists are asked to exercise caution while driving on Tanque Verde Road, between Bears Path and Bear Canyon Roads while crews work to repair the water line.
