TUCSON- Operation Deep Freeze will still be in effect tonight, Dec. 11th as cold evening temperatures are to be expected.
Beginning today at 3pm, The Salvation Army will have its doors open to anyone needing shelter. Persons needing a place to stay should go to The Salvation Army's Hospitality House, 1021 N. 11th.
Access to a warm shower, hot meal and transportation to overnight accommodations will be provided. Operation Deep Freeze houses close to 200 people a night at The Salvation Army's Hospitality House and overflow shelter, located at 1001 N. Richey Blvd.
Donations of needed blankets, coats, gloves, scarfs and mufflers may be made at the Hospitality House or any of the Naughton's Plumbing, Heating & Cooling locations.
