ORO VALLEY - Police in Oro Valley are asking the public's help in solving two hit and run collisions that left a pedestrian and a bicyclist seriously injured.

The first incident occurred on June 7 at about 7:06 p.m., at the intersection of Tangerine and La Canada. A pedestrian was struck and seriously injured, according to an Oro Valley Police Department news release.

Police say the suspect is an unknown Caucasian man, seen wearing a baseball cap and sunglasses. The victim and witnesses described the suspect vehicle as a white Dodge or Ford extended-cab pickup truck with a chrome grill, last seen fleeing northbound on La Canada and Tangerine.

The second incident happened at the same intersection on June 24, at about 7:32 a.m., and involved a bicyclist that was seriously injured. OVPD is seeking information about an unknown older Caucasian man with a white beard and white mustache. Witnesses described the vehicle as a white, late 70's or 80's model Suburban or pickup truck with a camper shell. The vehicle had a temporary license plate, partially reading: "D026," according to witnesses. It was last seen fleeing eastbound on Tangerine.
