Oro Valley woman vanishes

ORO VALLEY - Police need the public's help locating a missing woman.

Janet M. Rennspies was last seen by her family Wednesday morning.

When she had not returned home by that evening, they became concerned and contacted the Oro Valley Police Department.

Rennspies was entered into the national computer system as missing Thanksgiving day.

Family members located Rennspies vehicle on Mount Lemmon in the parking lot of the observatory.

A search by Pima County Sheriff's deputies and volunteers is ongoing.

Rennspies is described as a 51 year old white female, 5'05", 125 lbs., with blonde hair and blue eyes.

If anyone has seen Rennspies or has any information on her whereabouts they are asked to contact the Oro Valley Police Department at 520-229-4900, 88-crime or 911.
