Peaches and Cream Pie from Apple Annie's Orchard

Friday, August 16, Chef Mandy Kirkendall from Apple Annie's stopped by to show us how to make a sweet treat.

Peaches and Cream Pie

1 9-inch graham cracker crust
1 pkg. unflavored gelatin
1/4 c. cold water
1/2 c. boiling water
1 1/2 c. sliced fresh peaches
1/2 c. sugar
1 T. lemon juice
dash salt
1 c. whipping cream

Dissolve gelatin in cold water. Add boiling water and stir well. Combine sliced peaches and sugar; mix and let sit 1/2 hour while gelatin cools.
Add lemon juice, salt and gelatin to peaches, chill slightly. Add whipping cream and fold together. Put into crust and chill 1-2 hours before serving.
