PEERS AZ to provide job seeking resources

TUCSON - Goodwill of Southern Arizona has announced its partnership to provide job-seeker training services oriented to highly skilled, professionals in the Southern Arizona region.

Goodwill has partnered with the Professional Employment Exploration and Resource Service. The program will be called PEERS AZ.

Meetings will be held every Wednesday at the Job Connection Center located at the Goodwill Retail Store. Job seekers and employers are invited to attend with no cost.

PEERS AZ serves job seeking professionals, transitioning veterans, and their accompanying partners by providing weekly training and networking sessions to help attendees fine tune their resumes, networking, interviewing and presentation skills with confidence and confidentiality.

The partnership will not only benefit job seekers but includes area employers and employment service providers to uncover and place qualified area professional talent through developing formal and informational networking groups. The program will be able to provide greater resources to FIND and KEEP the best professional talent to support economic development in Southern Arizona.

Meetings will be held on every Wednesday, starting August 6, 2014 at the Job Connection Center located at the Goodwill Retail Store on 3725 E. Ft. Lowell Tucson, AZ from 9:30am to 12:30pm.
