Phoenix hotel evacuated after report of explosives in car

PHOENIX (AP) - Close to 50 people were evacuated from a Phoenix hotel after police received a call that a car burning in the hotel's parking lot contained explosives.

Police say that 47 people were evacuated Monday morning from the Victory Inn Hotel. Crews then worked to search for any possible explosion.

Employees and guests were let back in after about 90 minutes. No injuries were reported.
