PHOENIX - A Phoenix man has been arrested for allegedly molesting a young girl last year between June and December.
Phoenix police announced Wednesday that 26-year-old Adam Cameron Laine was taken into custody after reportedly telling officers that he had touched the 10-year-old girl's private areas several times and made her touch him inappropriately.
Police say the girl reportedly had visited Laine's house several times to assist Laine's wife with caring for their two young children.
They say Laine was booked into jail Wednesday and is expected to face suspicion of three counts of sexual abuse and two counts of molestation of a child.
It's unclear whether Laine has a lawyer yet.
