PHOENIX - A woman accused of trying to give away her baby outside a Phoenix convenience store has been sentenced to two years of supervised probation.
37-year-old Rozenna Luna pled guilty to one count of child abuse in July.
Police were called to the store on May 15th to check on Luna and her 6-month-old daughter.
Witnesses told officers that Luna was asking strangers if they wanted a free child.
Police say Luna allegedly had been drinking and smoking methamphetamine two days before the incident.
They say she made no attempt to contact any government agencies or family members for help.
The child was in state custody after her arrest, but has since been returned to the child's father.
