Picture perfect Fall day in the desert

TUCSON - Mother Nature dials up a beautiful afternoon for the Old Pueblo.

Expect mostly sunny skies and high temps in the low 90's today, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. This is thanks to a low pressure trough situated north and west of the state, with little impact on our weather in southern Arizona.

Today's forecast high of 92 degrees in Tucson is right at the average temperature for this date.

Tropical Storm Miriam continues to look like a non-factor for week's end. Precip-free conditions are on tap for Friday and Saturday, with a slight increase in cloud cover. Highs for the weekend drop to the low 90's.

A sneak peek at early next week shows high pressure building over the state. Mostly sunny skies should prevail and afternoon highs rise into the mid 90's for Tucson.
