UPDATE: Pima Community College has officially hired Lee Lambert to be the next chancellor at PCC.
TUCSON - Lee Lambert has emerged as the leading candidate to become the next chancellor at Pima Community College.
Friday afternoon the Pima College Board of Governors authorized expenditures to send five PCC employees to Shoreline Washington, for a site visit, PCC spokesman C.J. Karamargin said.
Two Board members and 3 other PCC employees will visit Shoreline Community College next week.
Lee D. Lambert of Shoreline Community College in Shoreline, Wash. has emerged as the leading candidate to be Pima Community College's next chancellor.
At a special meeting of the Governing Board today, Chair Brenda Even announced that Lambert was "the candidate that seemed to rise to the top."
