Police: several dead in Swiss shooting

BERLIN (AP) - Police say several people have been killed in a shooting at a company building in central Switzerland.
Police in Lucerne canton (state) said in a statement that the shooting occurred shortly after 9 a.m. (0800 GMT) Wednesday at the premises of Kronospan, a company in the town of Menznau. They said there were "several dead and several seriously injured people" but did not elaborate.
It was not immediately clear who the shooter was.
