Police want help identifying female bank robber

TUCSON - Tucson Police are looking for help identifying a female bank robbery suspect from Monday.

Officers responded to a robbery call at the Wells Fargo in the 5300 block of East Grant Dec. 9. The suspect had fled but no one was hurt, a release detailed.

Detectives say a woman approached the teller and demanded money. She put the cash in a brown purse and drove away in an unknown direction.

The woman is described as about 25-year-old, white, about 5'8'' tall and weighing about 130 pounds.

She was wearing a brown hat, brown jacket with blue jean cut off shorts. The vehicle she drove away in was a 2005 Chrysler Sebring convertible with a black top.

Anyone with information is being asked to call 88-CRIME or 911.
