TUCSON - Southern Arizona bracing for one of the coldest nights of the season so far.
As our winter storm makes its exit to the east cold air will continue to settle in overnight. According to Meteorologist John Patrick, the Tucson metro will dip into the mid 30s late tonight and into early tomorrow morning. Some parts of Cochise County will experience hard freeze conditions with lows dropping into the mid 20s.
Clearing skies and leftover moisture will lead to areas of frost across the region. A Frost Advisory is in effect mainly for the outlying areas of Tucson from midnight until Monday 8am. Patchy fog may also be present for your morning commute.
Daytime highs will slowly rise into the short work week with the 60s back tomorrow. A weak area of high pressure will build in for your Thanksgiving holiday putting us right back into the low 70s for the rest of the week.
