TUCSON- The Prison Fire burning on Mount Lemmon is 80 percent contained.
Forest Service officials were hopeful to have 100 percent containment by Saturday, but rough and rocky terrain in the interior of the fire is posing a challenge to the 20 person crew working the fire.
Gerry Perry with the Tucson Interagency Center says the area where the fire is burning did not receive significant rain Friday afternoon to help firefighters.
The fire has burned 270 acres since it was started by a lightning strike on June 30.
