TUCSON - Round 2 of Winter weather arrives later today.
A cold front dropping out of northern Arizona triggers scattered showers and snow above 4,000 feet, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. Rain/snow arrives late this afternoon, tapering off after midnight. Areas south and east of Tucson could see a dusting of snow tonight, including Sierra Vista, Benson, Douglas & Sonoita. Mt. Lemmon likely sees 2-4" snow between today and early tomorrow morning.
Widespread freezing temps are on tap for both Tuesday and Wednesday morning, as a chilly air mass moves in. High pressure over the eastern Pacific returns warmer weather by Thursday, with sunny skies and temps in the 60's and 70's.
