TUCSON- You may have noticed a few new housing complexes going up near the U of A. A brand new apartment would be nice. But, it comes with a price tag which has many students looking at all the options.
Apartments these days are all about the amenities and how much bang you can get for your buck, especially when you are a college student on a tight budget.
Complexes like Collegetown Tucson that have been here a few years have to keep up with the trends new apartments are setting while maintaining a price current residents can afford.
Beyond Collegetown's big selling point, the "A" shaped pool that changes color, they've upgraded their apartments with wood-like vinyl, appliances, and new fixtures. Like those new apartments, they have a study room and gym. But, what sets them apart from others is one flat rate, something college students seem to appreciate.
"Well, because it's affordable. You can get your resources that you need in one space at an affordable price. Everything is exclusive including the internet ant television package," said Erica Maynes, property manager.
Utilities are included too which is a great deal especially during summer.
