TUCSON - Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms possible again today.
As an upper level disturbance moves through the state we will see showers and thunderstorms develop across Southern Arizona today. Storms are favoring the higher elevations east of Tucson so far this afternoon.
Rainfall totals for valley locations are expected to remain rather light today but a few quick downpours are possible with stronger storms. Gusty winds and lightning strikes will be possible with the storms that develop into this afternoon and evening. Storm chances come to an end late this evening as this system pushes into New Mexico.
Temperatures are expected to be near normal this afternoon with Tucson topping out in the low 80s. As we clear out and dry up into Easter Sunday we'll see highs near 87 under mostly sunny skies.
The 90s are back briefly heading back to work early next week. Check out your True View 4 extended forecast here.
