Search teams actively looking for missing hiker in Lost Dutchman State Park

PINAL COUNTY - The Pinal County Sheriff's Office Search and Rescue unit is trying to find a missing hiker in Lost Dutchman State Park.

34-year-old Christopher Hensley recently moved to Arizona and isn't familiar with the area.

He was last seen Monday afternoon when he left a family member's house in east Apache Junction.

Search crews responded around 10 p.m. Monday to start looking for Hensely.

He was wearing black workout shorts and skateboard shorts. He only had enough water with him for a short hike.

The Pinal County Sheriff's Search and Rescue helicopter, Raven One has been assisting when the weather allows. Breezy conditions make the air search of the canyons very dangerous.
