TUCSON - Rebecca Ramsay was shot and killed coming home from a church-sponsored pizza party and died in her mother's arm Oct. 2000.
After two trials, a jury delivered a second verdict Monday to 28-year-old Louie Machado. They found him guilty of manslaughter and not guilty of second degree murder.
Machado was identified as a suspect by Tucson Police in 2001 but wasn't charged until 2006, records show.
Machado was found guilty in his original trial in 2008 but that verdict was overturned by the Arizona Court of Appeals. The court found that the judge in the case shouldn't have limited evidence possibly linking the murder to another suspect.
