Sheriffs: Marana woman, 34, broke foot escaping from teen's window

SAN TAN VALLEY - A Marana woman was arrested Jan. 25 on charges of having sexual misconduct with a minor.

Pinal County Sheriffs said a mother found her 15-year-old boy and 34-year-old Keri Gonzalez naked in the boy's room at around 2 a.m. Jan. 21.

The mother heard "knocking sounds by the stair and on the wall." When she opened the boy's room, she saw a naked Gonzalez crouched down between the bed and the wall, Pinal County Sheriffs spokesman Tim Gaffney said in a release.

The woman dressed herself and jumped out second floor window. The mother told sheriffs she could see her limping down the street.

Thirty minutes later, the mother said Gonzalez came back to the house. The mother said Gonzalez told her she had broken her ankle jumping out of her son's window, the release said.

The mother had previously warned the woman to stay away from her son, Gaffney said.

The boy told deputies that Gonzalez snuck into the home after his mother fell asleep. The boy said Gonzalez brought him alcohol and that they had sex two times. When his mother caught them in bed, he said, Gonzales jumped out the window.

Deputies found Gonzalez on Jan. 25. Gonzalez had a cast on her foot, Gaffeny said.

Gonzalez was arrested and booked into Pinal County Jail on charges of sexual misconduct with a minor and providing false information to a peace officer.
