An incredible historic discovery in England is confirmed -- remains found under a parking lot belong to a notorious English king!
British scientists announced Monday this skull found in central England is almost certainly that of Richard the Third.
The University of Leicester released this photograph ahead of its announcement.
Archaeologists found the body of a man buried beneath a parking lot in Leicester last year.
The scientists say DNA tests confirm "beyond reasonable doubt" the bones belong to the long-lost king.
They made the link using the DNA of a relative of the former king.
It's said the king died in battle in 1485.
Richard the Third was made famous to later generations in Shakespeare's play of the same name.
