TUCSON - Consider the next 72 hours the swan song for our Summer storm season.
Dry air moving in from the southwest limits the thunder threat today, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. Outside of a slight chance of isolated mountain storms, expect mostly sunny skies & high temps 2-4° below average.
Today's forecast high of 93° would make for the 5th straight day of temps below seasonal normals in Tucson.
There is a chance of isolated storms developing tomorrow and Friday, mainly near the New Mexico state line. A dry westerly flow aloft likely ends Monsoon 2013 this weekend for the valley floors with high temps nearing triple digits.
