TUCSON - The son of Willcox Police Chief Jake Weaver has been arrested and charged with arson and fraudulent use of credit card this afternoon.
Evan Weaver, 18, was arrested by the Cochise County Sheriff's Office and is currently being booked into the Cochise County Jail, according to Cochise County Sheriff's Office spokesperson Carol Capas.
He is charged with four counts of arson of property, and one count of fraudulent use of credit card.
The Cochise County Sheriff's Office believes Weaver is responsible for two fires on June 10th and two fires other fires on the 14th, Capas confirmed to News 4 Tucson.
The Cochise County Sheriff's Office says additional charges are pending, and the investigation continues.
