Sports Director Ryan Recker joined KVOA in February of 2007. During his time here, Ryan has covered several major events including the Super Bowl and Major League Baseball's All-Star Game. He's also had a front row seat for Arizona Wildcat football and basketball games, as well as on the golf course for the Accenture Match Play Championship.

In addition to anchoring the nightly 6PM and 10PM sportscasts, Ryan is also the pregame radio host for Arizona Wildcat football games and has hosted his own podcasts.

In 2012, Ryan was awarded a Regional Emmy Award for Sports Reporting, and since 2009 he's been a Heisman Trophy voter.

Prior to KVOA, Ryan was a sports anchor at WTOV in Steubenville, Ohio after beginning his television career as sports producer at WPGH in his hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Ryan is a graduate of Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh, and in his free time he enjoys working out, attending concerts, and is active in several local charities including The Boys and Girls Clubs of Tucson.
