PHOENIX (AP) - Arizona's second-largest utility is taking a wait-and-see approach as state regulators consider possible changes that may reduce incentives for customers with rooftop solar panels.
The Arizona Corporation Commission is expected next week to consider an Arizona Public Service Co. proposal to provide lower so-called "net metering" payments to at least some solar customers.
The Corporation Commission doesn't regulate the Salt River Project, but the Arizona Republic (http://bit.ly/1bS9Sjq) reports that SRP spokesman Jeff Lane says the utility will wait to see what happens with APS' request before acting themselves.
