TUCSON - If you don't get rain today, you might be waiting a while.
Scattered storms are possible this afternoon through early evening, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. While winds steering storms are rather weak, the atmosphere is very moist. A few storms could dump a quick 1"+ of rain, but flooding shouldn't be as widespread as Thursday.
Drier air from the west and limits the thunder threat to the isolated variety starting this weekend. We'll see a stretch of 100° days Saturday and lasting through the middle of the upcoming week.
