TUCSON- The streetcar will begin high speed controlled testing tomorrow morning near the University of Arizona.
From 1 A.M. to 5 A.M. University Boulevard will be closed between Fourth Avenue and Tyndall Avenue. While no vehicles will be able to access the area, foot traffic and bicyclist will not be disturbed.
The test is the beginning of a phase for the fourth of eight streetcars.
Throughout the remainder of spring and summer months the other streetcars will also undergo high speed testing.
Parking will not be allowed on the south side of University Boulevard, but permitted vehicles may be able to park with a ParkWise permit.
