Stretch of 70's and 80's continues

TUCSON - Wrapping up November on a warm streak.

High pressure over Nevada and Utah brings daytime highs up to 12 degrees above average today, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. Save for a few passing cirrus in the southern horizon, expect ample sunshine now through the upcoming weekend.

The remainder of the week sees a dry westerly flow setting up aloft, locking in above normal temperatures. Highs tomorrow through the first weekend of December top out in the 70's and 80's for southern Arizona. If these highs hold serve the rest of the week, November 2012 likely goes down as one of Tucson's warmest on record.

Daytime highs for this time of year should be in the upper 60's.

No big pattern changes are in store for Arizona heading into next week, as a series of storms batters the Pacific Northwest the next several days with heavy rain & mountain snow.
