TUCSON - Dry and hot for the midway point of the Labor Day Weekend.
Expect partly cloudy skies this afternoon, according to News 4 Meteorologist Jeff Beamish. Tucson should top out in the 100's today, making for the 69th triple digit day of the year. A slight chance of isolated storms is possible along the International Border near Nogales this afternoon, tapering off after sunset.
Monsoon moisture tracks back into southern Arizona by Labor Day, returning a chance of isolated storms area-wide. An inverted trough moves in from Sonora Tuesday and Wednesday, which should bring the best shot of thunder over the next week. Look for storm chances to decrease significantly by week's end.
