Suspect sought in Circle K robbery

TUCSON - Police are asking for the public's help identifying a robbery suspect from Jan. 9

The suspect is described as being a white male, 18 to 23 years of age, 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 140 to 160 pounds. The suspect was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, plaid shorts and yellow brimmed hat, Tucson Police Sgt. Chris Widmer said in a release.

On Jan. 9, Widmer said the suspect held up the Circle K in the 4100 Block of North First Avenue. He approached the counter with his hands in his sweatshirt pockets and implied he had a weapon. The suspect was able to leave with an undisclosed amount of cash and fled.

Police searched the area but was not found, Widmer said.

Anyone with information on the suspect is being asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
