TUCSON - An SUV with 6 people and several bales of marijuana rolled after running a stop sign, according to the Pima County Sheriff's Department.

A car hit the truck around 7:15 p.m. at the intersection of Tetakusim Road and Settler Avenue on the Southwest Side.

One person in the truck died. Another person was taken to the hospital in a helicopter. Witnesses said 4 people ran away.

A woman driving the car was also taken to the hospital.

Survivors from the SUV loaded bales of marijuana into another truck, according to witnesses. They left at least one bale in the flipped SUV.
