VAIL - New information in the case of a local high school security guard accused of kissing a student. 71-year-old Eric Oswald faces a charge of contributing to the delinquency of a minor after a teen girl told authorities he kissed her several times on campus at Cienega High School in Vail.
News 4 Tucson has obtained the Pima County Sheriff's department incident reports filed as part of the October investigation. In the documents, the teen tells investigators Oswald told her she was "beautiful" and she found that very flattering. She also said the first kiss, which happened when the girl was 14-years-old, shocked them both.
The girl says they, "did not have sex.. just made out."
Also in the documents, the assistant principal says the now 15-year-olds parents admitted this is not the first time their daughter was interested in an older man. They told her about an incident in sixth grade when the girl allegedly had a crush on her male teacher.
The girl also told the assistant principal that just last year she felt she could "have a future" with a male flag football coach.
Oswald did not talk to authorities about the relationship when he was interviewed by detectives. He's resigned since being cited in this case. The charge he faces is a misdemeanor.
