TUCSON - The Tucson Fire Department responded to two separate near drowning incidents on the eastside within less than 24 hours.
On Saturday, crews responded to the 3800 block of South Headwind, near Houghton and Escalante.
According to Captain Chris Jurvig with the Tucson Fire Department, a woman was found unresponsive in a community pool area.
She was breathing on her own by the time medics transported her to the hospital.
On Friday night Tucson firefighters responded to another near drowning incident near Tanque Verde and Wilmot.
A police officer administered CPR on the one-year-old child.
The toddler was rushed to the hospital for further medical care.
