TUCSON - The last time Tucson had a June day not featuring triple digits was June 10, 2012 when the mercury topped off at 99 degrees. That puts us at 60 consecutive June days with triple digit temps.
This trend is likely to continue, but we will turn down the thermostat a few degrees as we head into the end of the work and into the weekend.
Some moisture will be creeping into the region from the South over the next few days and a few mainly mountain storms may develop, especially on Friday.
Father's Day weekend looks breezy and dry, but the Monsoon officially begins on Sunday, and some signs indicate that even more moisture may spill into the region by next week.
