Tucson - Flash flooding was occurring in rural areas of Western Pima County Wednesday evening.
Some roads were impassible near the San Simon and Vamori Washes where a Flash Flood Warning remains active until 9:30 p.m.
The rest of Southern Arizona received lighter rainfall amounts today but Chief Meteorologist Matt Brode says storm chances are going up for the rest of the reigon by Thursday.
