TUCSON - The Tucson Police Department responded to a southside hospital Saturday night where a 24-year-old female had shown up with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
When officers arrived they learned that the shooting occurred at a home in the 1800 block of East Vera Cruz Vista.
Officers then responded to the residence early Sunday morning and several shots were fired in the area. No one was injured, but the shooter was not located.
The Tucson Police Gang Unit has now taken over the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
