TUCSON - For the first time this year, Season 4 Hope will have a refrigerated truck for Thanksgiving turkeys at this week's live drive!
News 4 Tucson's Kristi Tedesco will be broadcasting live outside the Tucson Fire Station at First Ave. and River Road this Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. She'll be taking your donations of food, clothes and toys to distribute to those in need this holiday season. Note that we're holding the live drive a day early, on Wednesday, to get last-minute Thanksgiving donations.
This week, Kristi will also be taking donations of raw turkeys and hams for the Community Food Bank to give to families in need for Thanksgiving.
The food bank is also in dire need of canned vegetables for the holidays - representatives say they are in very short supply.
So stop by the Tucson Fire Station on the southeast corner of 1st Avenue and River Road on Wednesday, between 4 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., to say hi to Kristi and to drop off your donations for this year's Season 4 Hope!
