THREE POINTS - Around 6:30 this morning, the Pima County Sheriff's Department went to serve a man, identified as 32-year-old Ronald Miller, with a warrant.
Miller had recently been released from prison and was wanted on a several charges, including parole violation out of Colorado, a felony assault committed one month ago in Pima County, and another assault that happened only yesterday, where PCSD says he allegedly strangled a woman.
But his arrest wouldn't be so easy.
When officials got there, Miller took off on a motorcycle into the desert. Deputies chased him, until he drove the motorcycle into another home. The home's owners were not there at the time.
PCSD considered Miller armed and dangerous.
Miller then made his way to a third home, on the 8900 block of Silver Star Drive, when one of his relatives lives, according to PCSD spokesman Deputy Tom Peine.
The SWAT team responded once he barricaded himself inside. At 4:11 p.m., he was finally arrested.
