TUCSON - Gusty east winds will develop over much of Southeastern Arizona during the overnight and early morning hours of Thursday.
An impulse will drop into the State and winds will peak during the morning hours creating the potential for blowing dust and increasing the already high fire danger.
A Wind Advisory and Red Flag Warning has been issued for much of the region through 1 PM Thursday including the City of Tucson.
Steady winds will range from 20-30 mph and gusts could reach 40+ mph. Temperatures will be cooler in response to the winds and top off in the low to mid 80s for highs.
Winds will die down early in the afternoon but breezy conditions will persist for much of the day.
