Today is the last day to register to vote for the August primary

TUCSON - Today is the last day to register to vote in the August 26 primary election.

The cut-off to register is midnight tonight. A new voter registration form must be completed by anyone who has moved (even to a new apartment number in the same complex), changed their name since their last registration, is a new Pima County resident, or would like to change their party affiliation.

In order to support voters who wish to register to vote, the Recorder's main office, located at 115 N. Church Ave., will be open extended hours on Monday, July 28. Hours for this day ONLY will be 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.

The easiest way to update your registration is to go to servicearizona.com and complete the registration online. Voters can access this site directly or through the Recorder's website at www.recorder.pima.gov at the link for "EZVoter". You must have your current address on file with MVD before using this option.

For more information, voters may call the Pima County Recorder's office at 724-4330. Out of town residents may call 1-800-775-7462 and ask for extension 44330. Although you cannot make changes to your voter registration over the phone, our staff is always available to answer any questions voters may have.
