TUCSON - Another triple digit day set to round out the weekend for the Old Pueblo.

Today will be the 73rd day at or above the century mark for Tucson, according to Meteorologist John Patrick. After today the high pressure ridge that has kept temperatures 5-10 degrees above normal for the past several days breaks down making room for cooling trend.

As a low pressure trough enters the western states to start the work week daytime highs drop to the mid 90s. As the cool down continues through the week temperatures fall into the upper 80s and low 90s by Friday. Also watching for an increase in moisture by the end of the week to support isolated storm chances Thursday and Friday.
