TUCSON - A 19-year-old man on his bike is in the hospital Monday after a truck slammed into him near Campbell and Spring Street, Tucson Police said.
A driver in a truck was headed north on Campbell and turned on Spring Street, Tucson Police spokeswoman Sgt. Maria Hawke said.
The driver failed to yield, striking the 19-year-old.
The man was taken to the hospital with injuries that aren't life-threatening but serious, she added.
Spring Street will be closed for a couple hours as a result of the accident, Hawke said.
