TUCSON - A major bust for counter narcotics officers in Southern Arizona: after a months-long investigation involving undercover operations, they took down a major source of heroin in Tucson.
The Counter Narcotics Alliance tells News 4 Tucson that officers made 15 arrests last Wednesday and Thursday at various locations around the city. The group includes a 16-year-old boy who is not being identified.
In addition, officers seized a total of 9.5 pounds of pure heroin, with an estimated street value of up to $8 million dollars.
Other members of the organization remain at-large. Anyone with information about the investigation or whereabouts of these individuals is urged to call 911 or 88-Crime.
