Tucson Police find body in burned car

TUCSON - Police found a body in a burned car Thursday on the eastside.

At about 3 p.m., officers responded to a burning car near Kolb and Irvington, Tucson Police Department Sgt. Chris Widmer said.

After the Tucson Fire Department extinguished the fire, a body was found, Widmer said.

Investigators are looking into the incident as an active crime scene, Widmer added.
