TUCSON - Paramedics transported a two-year old child to a hospital yesterday evening, from her home near Golf Links and Wilmot, after she became unresponsive while taking a bath with her five-year-old brother.
While the two kids were having a bath, the boy suddenly started yelling "lifeguard" while the children's mom left the room to answer her phone.
The mom ran back in to the bathroom and immediately called 911 and started performing CPR.
Tucson Fire and Paramedics responded to the house, where the little girl was breathing but lethargic. She was immediately transported to the hospital for further medical evaluation.
Tucson Fire Department emphasizes the importance of always having adult supervision when children are in the water.
