TUCSON - A woman died Monday night when she crashed into a light pole, police said.

Just before 7:30 p.m., 63-year-old Janet Blair was travelling west in the 1800 block of West Ajo Way when the her car jerked to the right and went over a curb, Tucson Police Department Sgt. Chris Widmer said.

After jumping the curb, Blair crashed into a nearby light pole. Blair was taken to the hospital where she died
